Twilight is an action packed, modern day love story between a vampire and a human. Bella Swan has always been a little bit different and when her mother sends Bella to live with her father in the rainy little town of Forks, Washington, she doesn't expect much of anything to change. Then she meets the mysterious and dazzlingly beautiful Edward Cullen, a boy unlike any she's ever met. Soon, Bella and Edward are swept up in a passionate and decidedly unorthodox romance. Like all vampires, he's immortal. But he doesn't have fangs, and he doesn't drink human blood. To Edward, Bella is that thing he has waited 90 years for: a soul mate. But the closer they get, the more Edward must struggle to resist the primal pull of her scent, which could send him into an uncontrollable frenzy. But what will Edward and Bella do when James, Laurent and Victoria, the Cullens' mortal vampire enemies, come to town, looking for her? This is the first movie from the book series from author Stephanie Meyer. The series are currently some of the most popular books written for young adults, with sales exceeding 50 million copies worldwide since the Twilight debut in 2004 and over 7.7 million copies sold in the U.S. alone. The fourth book in the series, Breaking Dawn, was released on August 2, 2008 and sold over 1.2 million units on the first day.

Customer Rating: Summary: Cheap Pop/Rock Garbage Comment: I really expected a lot more from a soundtrack to a movie that presents itself as a modern day romeo and juliet love story. The music is so bland and completely void of any passion and emotion that it culminates into mere background noise. Even the remix of the Linking Park song sounds soft and bland. The one exception is the lead track by Paramore. Otherwise, it's just a whole CD of BLAH!! The perfect example of a soundtrack for a movie about star-crossed lovers, filled with passion/anger/love/torture/vulnerabilty/etc is 1996's soundtrack to Romeo & Juliet directed by Baz Luhrmann. Let's hope they get a clue for the following series of Bella and Edwards flicks.
Customer Rating: Summary: Great Comment: I love this cd and have been playing it ever since I bought it. I bought the cd before I even saw the movie. My only criticism is that the best song from the movie by Robert Pattinson called Let me Sign is not on it and is nowhere to be found anywhere. There is also a Radiohead song from the In Rainbows song that is not included. I love the album anyway, though.
Customer Rating: Summary: A MUST HAVE FOR EVERY TWILIGHTER! Comment: This soundtrack meets all expectations! It's a must add for your music collection. Thanks to Amazon, it arrived quickly. Very happy with the purchase.
Customer Rating: Summary: appropriate music for the movie Comment: I loved the books so much that I thought maybe I would like the cd if Paramore was on it. I listen to all the songs almost everytime I get in my car.
Customer Rating: Summary: oh no... Comment: I hoped this would have been a great CD but was completely dissappointed. If I could download a few songs rather than waste my money I would. I like Paramore, Collective Soul, Linkin Park, and even Rob Pattinson (I love this song actually... him and Paramore's "Decode" are really all I wanted). Mutemath is ok and Bella's Lullaby is average but not at all what I thought it should sound like. In my opinion the rest is just awful.
