However, with this Kirkland Minoxidil Extra Strength for Men, results may occur at 2 months with twice daily usage. For some men, it may take at least 4 months for results to be seen. Continued use is necessary or Hair Loss will begin again. If you do not see hair regrowth in 4 months, stop use. In studies with 5% Minoxidil Extra Strength Topical Solution for Men, hair regrowth has not been shown to last longer than 48 weeks of continuous treatment in large clinical studies. The amount of hair regrowth is different for each person.

Comment: Ordered the twelve month supply. Have been using it now for about nine months. Hair is noticebly thicker. Have no problems with itchiness or dandruff as mentioned by other people. Follow directions ie. dry hair before applying, no more or less as directed, etc. and maybe eliminate some of the problems. Try eating a super healthy diet. This can only help your hair as well as the rest of you. The Natural Health Shoppe offers great price and shipping. Good luck to all.

Comment: It works great for me without side effects. You should use it for at least 6 months while visiting a doctor. I am very satisfied.

Summary: itch, irritation & dandruff
Comment: Kirkland products are generally high-quality, but my own experience with minoxidil 5% over the past 3 weeks has not been good. I continue to have scalp itching and dryness, even when I use half the prescribed amount. If I use more, I end up with scaly skin and dandruff too. I've read that this results from the alcohol solution, and any brand of 5% can have the same side effects too. As to effectiveness, it's still too early to say after only 3 weeks.

Comment: I stopped useing Minoxidil %5 after I saw more hair after using Neutrogena Maximum Strength T/Sal it cleans all the dead skin and gived me more hair in two months :)
I just stated useing Nizoral A-D Shampoo after useing T/sal then Minoxidil-5% and it seems to work and do not have worry about the cost your running out :)
