Well, I just leaped in and bought the CamelBak with the sports top. I think it's great! It's easy to clean, easy to carry around, and (though it takes a bit of practice), easy to drink out of. And, it doesn't spill.

The screw top lids are loud when trying to get a sip in class, and hard to take off while driving or walking. The large open lids you can't drink from while moving or on a treadmill. The straw and mouth piece took a day to get used to but I love this feature. You don't have to tilt your head back to drink so if you are in class or driving you can keep your eyes forward. The lid is truly leak proof if you screw it on properly and the straw doesn't leak at all. The piece all come apart for easy cleaning. The 750 mL is the prefect size. It fits in my car cup holder and its not that heavy dragging around on my backpack. There are makings on the sides that are pretty accurate if you want to mix together one of those flavor packets to go. I clip it to my backpack with a rock climbing clip thing and the plastic hook is strong and won't wear out.
