Summary: Would not buy another Bowflex series 7 again!
Comment: I purchased this Bowflex series 7 treadmill based on reviews in a consumer magazine. This treadmill worked fine for just under 2 years (although it developed some noise). Then it suffered a catastrophic break down (electrical and/or mechanical problems). Nautilus reps (the owners of Bowflex) sent repair guys to my house. The repair guys never got it running properly. I called another company, and they said it would be too expensive to fix. I am completely frustrated with the repair process/warranty/quality of this treadmill, and have decided to buy a different treadmill at a similar price (a Sole F80). I would not buy another Bowflex treadmill again.

Summary: Beware Large Heavy Carton!
Comment: I am hopeful that the Bowflex 7 is one of the best. I can't be certain yet. It arrived yesterday by ABF truck. The driver couldn't drive up our icy driveway so he had to unload it at the curb -- all 275 pounds. He needed my help lowering it to the ground. The box is enormous.
ABF policy says it is my responsibility to get it off of the truck, up my driveway, and into my basement. Thankfully my driver volunteered to push the box up the 250' driveway on a small hand cart. I opened the box and removed all the light parts. The rest, about 200#, is simply going to have to wait until I can find someone much younger and stronger to help drag it around the house and into the basement. Luckily the ground is still snow covered.
You will need one or two strong helpers to help get this off the truck and installed.
PS: The driver refused to accept the tip I offered.

Comment: Bowflex Series 7 Treadmill
We've had our treadmill a month now, it's been used daily, and we love it!! This is our first treadmill; however, I read many, many reviews like this before purchasing. I like to walk fast, my son/husband run. So for us, this was a great family treadmill. I haven't tried all the programs, although there seems to be one for every need.
Although I read about this in the reviews, the delivery of this treadmill still surprised me. The box is very large, treadmill inside is very heavy. If you move it upstairs like we did, I recommend a plan of action and a couple strong guys. There is not always a lot of room to manuever when taking it upstairs. Once there, the unpacking and putting together was a breeze, and I'm definitely very happy with this purchase.

Summary: Boo Consumer Reports!!!
Comment: Consumer Reports rated this treadmill very highly. I am not impressed! The speed sensor did not work on the machine and so I was sent another sensor from Nautilus with instructions written in Chinese. I do not feel I should have to repair a brand new piece of equipment. I finally had the speed sensor repaired and the fan doesn't work! I will never buy another piece of equipment from Nautilus. Amazon.com has been most generous by taking off an additional 10% of the purchase price so I could hire someone to come over and replace the sensor. Consumer Reports - you dropped the ball on this one!

Comment: We bought this treadmill for our family of 5, based on good reviews and reputation. Despite it's size, ordering and delivery went very smoothly. As others have said, it is heavy but as a result, seems to be very durable. It is our first treadmill and although we've only used it for about a week so far, we're very happy with it.
