I have owned two electric razors before. One a Norelco and the other a Whal. Neither gave me the kind of shave I expected and the Norelco was quite expensive. I used the blade more than the electric razors. But as the blades for Gillete and Schick kept getting more and more expensive, I decided I might take another look at the electric razors. I spend at least half a day on the Internet checking people's reviews on the different kinds of electric razors and decided to try the Braun Series 3 370 model. The old Whal I had was a foil razor and it seem to not irritate my skin as the rotary Norelo did.
Well let me say this. None of them shaved as close as a blade, but this Braun razor comes as close as I have ever gotten to a blade. No skin irritation, or pulling of hairs. It seems you don't need a hard touch to get a great shave from it either. I noticed some said it didn't get the neck hair to well, but with a gentle pull of the skin, it gets those stubborn long hairs on me. I gave it a real test over the Holiday by not shaving for three days and thought for sure I would have to use a blade, but I was wrong. It had no problem clipping it all off.
I love the fact that you can rinse it under hot water to clean it. It's so fast and easy. Can't understand why anyone would pay more to have one of those self cleaning ones were it takes up more space and you have to keep buying the liquid cleaner for it. It doesn't get more easier than this. I can't imagine they could give you a better shave than the 370 does. haven't tried the trimmer yet so I can't really comment on it. But if you want a great shave at a good price and like the thought of cleaning it by just rinsing it under hot water, your going to love this razor.

Comment: After three months of daily usage, I find no faults with this shaver. The cut is close, the weight of the device is good and the battery retention is also very good.

Comment: I've had this electric razor for a month now, and it does a very nice job. It's easy to clean, not too noisy, and was reasonably priced. I highly recommend it.

Comment: I bought this shaver to replace a Norelco- big mistake.It does a lousy job on the neck,leaving stray hairs and leaves stubble on the cheeks. And it manages to be more irritating than the Norelco as well.I'm partialy bald and shave my head daily and this shaver is useless for that too.If your face was as flat as a table top this shaver might work, but it can't deal with curves and creases.Overall very disappointed.

Comment: I can really recommend this shaver. I already had an braun which i had to replace. i never thought the new shaver could be better but it is. Not a single hair is left after shaving with the 370. I can use the shaver for almost 2 weeks without recharging and it helps that it's washable.
