Summary: Caused severe breakout
Comment: I used this for about a month. During this time, my face gradually broke out worse than when I was 15 years old and working at a fast food restaurant. I didn't think it could be this product because it has acne medication (salicylic acid). But, I quit using it, and sure enough it gradually became better and two weeks later, not a zit in sight.

Summary: Finally a painless end to ingrow Hairs!
Comment: I feel like I've tried every product available to reduce in-grown hairs and found nothing that worked. My daily routine involved tweezers and some pain. I had moderate success with Tend Skin until I suddenly developed an allergic reaction to the alcohol.
This shaving cream is simply an unbelievable product. I never thought that a shaving cream would be able to clear up in-grown hairs, but it does.
A jar lasts me three months and the $25 price tag is worth the extra expense of having such a pleasurable shave. The clear formula allow you to avoid blemishes and the blade slides over my skin like I just put on shaving oil.

Summary: Slightly Better Than Average
Comment: Having very sensitive skin I was very excited to see that this product works well with skin prone to irritation. My shave started out well, but by the next morning I had practically the same amount of razor burn and ingrown hairs that always plague me the next day. Overall, I am very disappointed with this product as it didn't work much better than your typical generic shaving cream.

Summary: Unbiased review - TOO EXPENSIVE
Comment: I've used this product for a couple of months and it does a good job, but
nothing stellar. It is better than anything you would find at Walmart or
the supermarket (i.e. Gillete, Colgage, etc) but not too different from a some shaving cream formulas from Kiehls or Art of Shaving. Believe me, i've tried a bunch of shaving creams and gels and this product TOO EXPENSIVE.
A better bet would be Kiehls shaving formulas which work well to improve my razor bumps and last a lot longer.
I give it 3 stars because of price and also because 1/2 the reviews to date 5/10/08, have come from the South Florida area. Mens Science is also based in South Florida. Coincidence - perhaps, but I'm always a skeptic of a small number of reviews.

I offer reviews of Clinique, zirh, menscience, art of shaving and baxter of California, hope my reviews are helpful.
this shave cream is great, although it takes too much cream to get a good shave. besides that, it's a great purchase
