Summary: For the true Chocolate Lover
Comment: I love these Almond & Hazelnut Pralines! Words just cannot describe how deliciously rich and decadent they are. They absolutely melt in your mouth. Not exactly a health food, but luckily they are filling so most people cannot have more than a few in one sitting. I've had just about every European brand of chocolate and these are by far the best! (The American brands just cannot compare to these, so be warned. Once you have the Leonidas, you will never want Hershey's or Nestle's again.) They are packaged carefully (one reviewer said excessively) but I love the beautiful packaging and the ribbon. I once ordered Belgian chocolates from another company and they arrived with many of the chocolates melted and squished. So, in my opinion these are well worth the money. Not something to have every day of course, but maybe as a gift for that Special Someone or on special occasions. I HIGHLY recommend!

Summary: A decent gianduja
Comment: I'm not a chocolate guru, but I do love chocolate-hazelnut. This product has more "milk chocolate" color and flavor than I was expecting or wanting,the texture is very smooth/melty/homogenized. The hazelnut flavor is present but not strong or striking. To my taste, it's good but not great, and the character seems like an anonymous something from a "big chocolate factory". The packaging was excessive = shipping box -> styro box -> gold giftwrap -> box -> liner paper -> divider piece -> individually wrapped. I think it is a safe gift and likely to have wide appeal.

Summary: Positively wonderful!
Comment: I bought this a few years ago from a little chocolate shop in Washington DC. It was so delicious and I couldn't believe how it just melted in my mouth! The taste was pure and indulgent. I just found this on here and bookmarked it. I will definitely be ordering some of this soon! It's a tad bit expensive, but hey, it's THAT good.
