Comment: I saved up all of my money to buy this book. It was quite pricey for me because I lost all of my money because of marthas insider trading....... I lost a bundle on that.
Anyway I could barely concentrate on cooking.........because I am probably going to lose my house......because of Martha....... The food would be good........if I could afford it........I really can not afford it because of martha.
MArtha should concentrate more on being a nice human instead of cut throating her way to the top.
If you want real entertainment, then look at the show whatever martha......it stars her daughter who talks about how abusive and nasty Martha was.
Dont buy the book.. Give the money to someone else who lost their life savings.........because of martha.

Summary: Pure Genius!
Comment: I got this book as a gift for Xmas and it is absolutely pure genius! It's a great go-to source for the beginner cook -- everything from selecting meats & produce to getting the right tools for your kitchen all the way to basic & detailed cooking techniques -- but it also serves as a great reminder and reference book for the mid-level cook who may need a little refresher course. It also includes some fabulous recipes for practical execution of these techniques -- just brilliant! The book is huge so, you definitely get your money's worth. Highly recommended.
